What does Performance Training look like?
-
Strength Training
Looking to build up muscle or improve your knowledge on movements to gain strength? Using weights—such as dumbbells or resistance bands—or bodyweight exercises like push-ups and squats, we will gradually increase the intensity as your strength improves.
-
Endurance
Our goal in endurance training is to increase your stamina and overall fitness, which will allow you to sustain physical activity for longer periods. If your looking to improve your running, cycling, rowing or prolonged physical exertion, this is the route for you.
-
Sport-Specific
This training approach enhances athletic performance by incorporating functional movements, tailored workouts and drills to address the unique demands and movement patterns of your sport, allowing athletes to improve their overall efficiency and effectiveness.
-
Injury Prevention
We take a systematic approach for both recovering from an injury and reducing the risk of future injuries. This process includes assessing your injury (or risk of injury), developing a specific program that may incorporate strength training, flexibility exercises, and functional movement patterns, along with educating you on proper techniques and body mechanics.
